Who says local can’t be fun?! In a world where we want everything now and the latest trendiest thing, it’s easy to forget the powerful impact of shopping small! My girlfriend and I spent a fun Saturday morning right here in town! (Seymour, IN)
We started our morning at the Seymour Area Farmers Market! Where we found goodies such as sourdough, soaps, jams, flower bouquets, some fresh produce, to 3D printed creations + little bit of everything in between!!
Some of my favorites include a Hoosier Cream Pie from 812 Crumb, Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel from The Imperfectly Perfect Bagel Company, Otte’s Farm Strawberry Jam, + my bfs dog loves Banana + PB Muffins from Christie’s Nibbles!!
Next up: Breakfast + Coffee
We grabbed coffee at the Humble Joe’s Coffee truck that was also at the Farmers Market! Their Summer Series menu is great- including flavors like banana, coconut, orange, + blueberry! I drank the Iced Blueberry Bay Latte (dark choc), it was delightful!
Other options for coffee:
•Moxie Coffee Company– one of my favorites for local coffee! My go to is their seasonal iced latte, preferably the Iced Strawberries + Cream Latte! (Moxie also offers breakfast sandwiches + other small treats!)
•Seymour Protein Zone: SPZ offers protein coffees, shakes, energy teas, + “guilt free” desserts! My favorite is a Captain America Tea Bomb + a Waffle in a Cup!
Then, we stopped to grab breakfast at a Seymour staple: Mae’s Townhouse. A classic breakfast spot! Great comfort food + you can’t beat the prices! We got two meals + a to-go breakfast sandwich for less than $30?! Are you kidding?!

•LatinUS Cafe: A latin inspired cafe that has fresh juices, pastries + my favorite: Chilaquiles Verdes!
•Larrison’s Diner: A classic American Diner! Here you will find a hearty breakfast + comfort food.
End the day with some local boutique shopping! We went to Audie Jayne Boutique, a size inclusive, gift, + home decor shop!
